The South African Lobbying Association (SALA)

Is the official body representing ethical and transparent government and public affairs industry in the Republic of South Africa.

These are juristic (firms) and natural persons (individual practitioners) who’s primary vocation and professional practice, is the provision government and public affairs consulting and advisory services to clients at a fee or not-for-profit basis.

  • Facilitation and liaison
  • Information sharing and exchange
  • Submissions and representation
  • Reviews, formulation, reforms and amendment
  • Dialogue and communication
  • Interest based issues management

Legally established and registered as a Non-Profit Company in the Republic of South Africa on 5 December 2019, we are a voluntary body open to membership from individuals and organisations representing legitimate interests to:

  • National, provincial and municipal spheres of government and their agencies
  • Parliament, provincial legislatures, municipal council and their structures
  • Elected representatives
  • Political appointees
  • Administrative and political staffers

Membership

Our membership is open to firms and individual practitioners in these areas based on:

  1. A successful application being lodged
  2. An admission and review procedure being conducted
  3. Admission fees being paid
